Amazon - All the Money in the World

Sony Pictures annonce pour le 10 avril 2018, le film All the Money in the World (Tout l'argent du monde) en format DVD et Blu-ray, réalisé par Ridley Scott et mettant en vedette Michelle Williams, Christopher Plummer, Mark Wahlberg, Charlie Plummer, Romain Duris et Timothy Hutton.

Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.

Rome, 1973. Un jeune Américain qui marche sur le trottoir est enlevé en plein milieu de la nuit. Son grand-père avare est l'homme le plus riche de la planète et il refuse de payer la rançon qui se chiffre à quelques millions de dollars. Les ravisseurs traitent alors directement avec la mère de leur victime. Même si Gail n'a pas d'argent, elle décide de se rendre en Italie. Elle est accompagnée par Fletcher, un ancien agent de la CIA embauché par l'ancien beau-père de Gail pour régler la situation sans dépenser trop d'argent.

Synopsis: ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom. When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.

 

ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD was written by David Scarpa (The Day the Earth Stood StillThe Last Castle) and is based on the book by John Pearson. It was produced by Dan Friedkin (The Square), Bradley Thomas (The Square), Quentin Curtis (Legend), Chris Clark (Legend), Ridley Scott, Mark Huffam (The Martian) and Kevin J. Walsh (Manchester by the Sea).

 

Inspired by historical events. Certain scenes, characters and dialogue have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes.
