HBO Canada annonce pour le 4 septembre 2018, le coffret Silicon Valley season 5 en format DVD, mettant en vedette Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener, Martin Starr, Kumail Nanjiani, Amanda Crew, Zach Woods, Matt Ross, Suzanne Cryer et Jimmy O. Yang.

L'équipe de Pied Piper est plus que jamais proche de la fortune et de la gloire avec le lancement de Piper Net dans la cinquième saison de cette série humoristique à succès. Pendant que Richard (Thomas Middleditch) se démène pour assumer son rôle de PDG, Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani) et Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) s'habituent à l'agrandissement de l'équipe, Jared ( Zach Woods) assure la cohésion du groupe, la chance continue de sourire à Grosse Tête (Josh Brener) et Jian-Yang (Jimmy O.Yang) ferait n'importe quoi pour de l'argent. Pendant ce temps chez Hooli, Gavin Belson, (Matt Ross) redevenu PDG, risque de laisser son désir de rester dans la course le consommer alors qu'il essaye d'écraser ses concurrents.
