Warner Bros annonce pour le 19 février 2019, le film A Star Is Born (Une étoile est née) en format 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray et DVD, réalisé par Bradley Cooper et mettant en vedette Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper, Sam Elliott, Dave Chappelle, Anthony Ramos et Bonnie Somerville.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
Jackson Maine est un chanteur country adulé à travers le monde. Un soir, il entre dans un bar et tombe amoureux d’Ally, une jeune femme qui a dû abandonner sa carrière dans la musique en raison d’un physique imparfait. Jackson donne sa chance à Ally en lui permettant de le suivre en tournée et de chanter sur scène avec lui. Plus Ally devient populaire, plus Jackson sombre dans l’oubli. La chanteuse tâche de réserver une place spéciale à Jackson dans son quotidien effréné, mais l’alcoolisme de ce dernier vient brouiller les cartes.

Toronto, ON, December 11 – Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced today the early 2019 release dates of the 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, the Blu-ray Combo Pack, the DVD Special Edition and Digital versions of the critically acclaimed box office hit “A Star Is Born.” The 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD editions will be available to consumers on February 19, or fans can own it early on Digital on January 15. The 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, the Blu-ray Combo Pack, the DVD Special Edition and Digital versions of “A Star Is Born” feature almost 10 minutes of never-before-seen musical performances by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, including “Baby What You Want Me To Do,” “Midnight Special” and “Is That Alright.”
In “A Star Is Born,” Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga fuse their considerable talents to depict the raw and passionate tale of Jack and Ally, two artistic souls coming together, on stage and in life. Theirs is a complex journey through the beauty and heartbreak of a relationship struggling to survive.
In this new take on the iconic love story, four-time Oscar nominee Cooper (“American Sniper,” “American Hustle,” “Silver Linings Playbook”) makes his directorial debut, and also stars alongside multiple award-winning, Oscar-nominated music superstar Gaga in her first leading role in a major motion picture. Cooper portrays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers and falls in love with struggling artist Ally. She has given up on her dream to become a successful singer until she meets Jack, who immediately sees her natural talent.
The film also stars Andrew Dice Clay, with Dave Chappelle and Sam Elliott. In addition to playing Ally, Gaga performs original songs in the film with Cooper, which they wrote with a handful of artists, including Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell and Mark Ronson.The music is original and all vocals for the movie were recorded live during filming.
“A Star Is Born” recently received five Golden Globe nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Drama; Best Director – Motion Picture, Bradley Cooper; Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, Lady Gaga; Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, Bradley Cooper; and Best Original Song in a Motion Picture, “Shallow.” The film also received three awards from the National Board of Review, including Best Director Bradley Cooper, Best Actress Lady Gaga, and Best Supporting Actor Sam Elliott, as well as four Grammy Award nominations for “Shallow” for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Song Written For Visual Media.
The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of “A Star Is Born” will feature Dolby VisionTM HDR that dramatically expands the color palette and contrast range and uses dynamic metadata to automatically optimize the picture for every screen, frame by frame. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of “A Star Is Born” will also feature a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theatre environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. To experience Dolby Atmos at home, a Dolby Atmos enabled AV receiver and additional speakers are required, or a Dolby Atmos enabled sound bar. Dolby Atmos soundtracks are also fully backward compatible with traditional audio configurations and legacy home entertainment equipment.
Fans can also own “A Star Is Born” via purchase from digital retailers beginning January 15.
