Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment annonce pour le 20 août 2019, le coffretStar Wars Resistance: season 1 en format DVD. Créé par Dave Filoni, il met en vedette les voix anglaises de Christopher Sean, Josh Brener, Scott Lawrence, Suzie McGrath, Lex Lang, Myrna Velasco, Tovah Feldshuh, Jason Hightower, Oscar Isaac et Gwendoline Christie.

Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.

Poe Dameron, un commandant de la Résistance, envoie le jeune pilote Kazuda Xiono espionner le Premier Ordre. Afin de remplir sa mission, Kazuda se rend sur la station spatiale Colossus. Celle-ci est utilisée par de nombreux vaisseaux pour le ravitaillement et les réparations, mais également pour des courses dangereuses. Alors qu’il montre ses compétences de vol à son arrivée, Kazuda se retrouve entraîné dans l’une des courses.

Star Wars Resistance: Complete Season One delivers more than eight hours of entertainment including 21 action-packed episodes, 4 audio commentaries, 12 bonus shorts and an exclusive sneak-peek at the making of the series with cast and crew.

The first season follows Kazuda (“Kaz”) Xiono, a young pilot recruited by Resistance hero Poe Dameron for a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. Stationed aboard an aircraft refueling station, Kaz quickly finds himself in over his head as he struggles to keep his cover as a mechanic while gaining the trust of his newfound friends. They find themselves entangled with ace pilots, marauding pirates and creatures of all shapes and sizes.

Fast, fun and told in a vibrant anime-inspired style, this high flying adventure brings a new perspective to the events surrounding Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The series is created by renowned Lucasfilm Animation veteran Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) with Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Justin Ridge (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) and Brandon Auman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) serving as executive producers and Amy Beth Christenson (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) as art director.
