Le film d'animation Rio 2 sera disponible en DVD et Blu-ray dès le 15 juillet 2014.
Les éditions possèderont plusieurs pistes sonores dans l'anglais et le français (Québécois).
Voici le synopsis :
Blu, Jewel et leurs trois enfants vivent confortablement à Rio de Janeiro et Blu en est très satisfait, lui qui est décidément plus casanier qu'aventurier. Lorsqu'ils apprennent que certains de leurs semblables vivent dans la forêt d'Amazonie, Jewel propose de se rendre sur les lieux afin de vivre une aventure. Sceptique, Blu accepte, mais non sans prendre quelques précautions. Une fois arrivée, la petite famille s'intègre bien, mais les aras bleus doivent bientôt contrecarrer les plans d'un exploitant sans scrupules qui veut détruire leur habitat naturel. Pendant ce temps, Blu doit s'adapter à ce nouvel environnement.
