Universal Studios Home Entertainment annonce pour le 12 janvier 2016, le coffret Mr. Robot season 1 en édition DVD et Blu-ray de Sam Esmail avec Rami Malek, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday et Christian Slater.
Une piste sonore anglaise avec des sous-titres en anglais seront disponibles.
Mr. Robot est un thriller psychologique qui suit Elliot (Rami Malek, "24"), un jeune programmeur, qui travaille comme ingénieur en cybersécurité de jour et comme justicier hacker de nuit. Elliot se retrouve à un carrefour lorsque le mystérieux chef (Christian Slater, "Le Journal d'Adderall") d'un groupe de hackers underground le recrute pour détruire la société qu'il est payé pour protéger. Entraîné par ses convictions personnelles, Elliot a du mal à résister à la chance de nuire aux PDGs de la multinationale qui, selon lui, sont en train de mener (et de ruiner) le monde. La série met également en vedette Portia Doubleday ("Elle"), Carly Chaikin ("Suburgatory") et Martin Wallström ("Simple Simon").
