Sony Pictures annonce pour le 15 décembre 2015, le film Wolf Totem (Le dernier loup) en édition DVD et Blu-ray et Blu-ray 3D de Jean-Jacques Annaud avec Shaofeng Feng, Shawn Dou, Ankhnyam Ragchaa, Basen Zhabu et Yin Zhusheng.
À la fin des années 60, un étudiant de Beijing se rend en Mongolie pour s'imprégner de la vie sauvage. Il intègre une communauté nomade dont le chef l'initie à l'importance de la nature. Un jour où il s'est écarté de son chemin, Chen Zhen tombe sur une meute de loups. Après s'en être sorti indemne, il se met à vouloir mieux connaître cette espèce. Mais les loups ne sont pas les bienvenus et les autorités cherchent à les éliminer en décimant leur nourriture et leurs progénitures. Affamées et en proie à la vengeance, ces bêtes s'attaquent aux moutons, aux chevaux et même à l'homme.

Synopsis: In acclaimed director Jean-Jacques Annaud's film adaptation of Jiang Rong's best-selling novel, a young Beijing student is sent to live among the nomadic herdsmen of Inner Mongolia.
