Sony Pictures annonce pour le 8 mars 2016, le film Coming Home en édition DVD et Blu-ray de Yimou Zhang avec Daoming Chen, Li Gong, Huiwen Zhang, Tao Guo, Feng Zu et Peiqi Liu.

Une piste sonores anglaise avec des sous-titres en français seront disponibles.

Pendant la révolution culturelle chinoise, Lu a été emprisonné dans un camp de travail. Un jour, il réussit à s'évader. Les autorités rendent visite à son épouse Feng et à sa fille Dandan pour les mettre au courant de la situation et leur demander de le dénoncer si elles le voient. Sa femme hésite de se plier à cet ordre, alors que l'adolescente qui ne le connaît pratiquement pas acquiesce afin de rendre service à la nation. Quand elle perd un important rôle de danse, Dandan devient aigrie, posant un geste qu'elle regrettera amèrement. Lorsque Lu retrouve finalement les siens, plus rien ne sera comme avant?

(January 26, 2016) – Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Canada announces the Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital release ofCOMING HOME on March 8. COMING HOME marks the twelfth collaboration between Sony Pictures Classics and acclaimed Chinese film director Zhang Yimou (House of Flying Daggers, Hero), which began with the Academy Award^®-nominated Raise the Red Lantern(1992, Best Foreign Language Film). This emotional story about family, love and loyalty stars two of China’s finest actors, Chen Daoming (Infernal Affairs) and Gong Li (Memoirs of a Geisha). COMING HOME is Gong Li’s eighth film with Yimou. The film was an official selection at the 2014 Cannes and Toronto International Film Festivals, and has earned a 93 per cent Certified Fresh ranking on Rotten Tomatoes. Blu-ray Special Features on COMING HOME include a Toronto International Film Festival Q&A with Zhang Yimou and a director’s commentary track.

Synopsis

Lu (Chen Daoming) and Feng (Gong Li) are a devoted couple forced to separate when Lu is arrested and sent to a labour camp as a political prisoner during the Cultural Revolution. When Lu is released years later, he returns home to find his beloved wife has amnesia and remembers little of her past. Unable to recognize him, she still patiently awaits her husband’s return. A stranger within his own family, Lu is determined to awaken his wife’s memory through gentle displays of unconditional and eternal love.

COMING HOME is directed by Zhang Yimou with a screenplay by Zou Jingzhi based on the novel by Yan Geling. It is produced by Jia Yueting, Jerry Ye, Bill Kong, Li Li, Yifang Zhao and Zhang Zhao. The film stars Chen Daoming, Gong Li and Zhang Huiwen.

COMING HOME has a running time of approximately 109 minutes and is rated PG.
