Sony Pictures annonce pour le 29 mars 2016, Concussion (Commotion) en édition DVD et Blu-ray et 4K UltraHD de Peter Landesman avec Will Smith, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alec Baldwin, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Eddie Marsan et David Morse.
Une piste sonore allemande avec des sous-titres en anglais et français seront disponibles.
Au début des années 2000, le docteur Bennet Omalu, médecin légiste d'origine nigérienne, s'installe à Pittsburgh où il mène ses travaux dans un laboratoire de neuropathologie. Membre éminent de la communauté médicale, Omalu accomplit toujours ses tâches dans le plus grand respect des corps qu'il est chargé d'autopsier. À la mort d'un ancien sportif professionnel, le brillant scientifique découvre une nouvelle maladie encore jamais documentée : des commotions cérébrales répétées conduisent prématurément des athlètes de haut niveau à la morgue. Cette trouvaille majeure sème une véritable onde de choc dans les milieux sportifs, notamment au sein de la NFL.

CONCUSSION is the first new feature film title to be released from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on 4K Ultra HD, joining the studio’s March 1st catalog films including The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Salt, Hancock, Chappie, Pineapple Express, and The Smurfs 2. 4K Ultra HD features four times the resolution of high definition, high dynamic range (HDR)--which produces brilliant highlights, vibrant colors and greater contrast on compatible displays--and Dolby Atmos audio, remixed specifically for the home theater environment, delivering captivating sound that places and moves audio anywhere in the room, including overhead.
