Warner Bros annonce pour le 10 octobre 2017, le film The House (La maison) en format DVD et Blu-ray, réalisé par Andrew Jay Cohen et mettant en vedette Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Jason Mantzoukas, Ryan Simpkins, Nick Kroll et Jeremy Renner.

Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.

Alex doit bientôt commencer ses études supérieures. Elle a été acceptée à l'université de son choix. La ville a cependant voté de ne pas lui accorder une bourse et ses parents Scott et Kate sont incapables d'emprunter le montant requis pour acquitter ses frais de scolarité. Après un voyage à Las Vegas où ils ont perdu de l'argent, Scott et Kate décident de faire équipe avec leur voisin Frank afin de fonder un casino. Cette entreprise illicite s'avère très lucrative. Ils devront toutefois faire attention aux autorités locales et aux tricheurs qui feront tout pour s'en mettre plein les poches.

Toronto, ON, August 15, 2017 – Get lit, win big. Then go home to the kids when “The House” arrives onto Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD. The comedy stars Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler in their first big-screen pairing.

From New Line Cinema and Village Roadshow Pictures, “The House” also stars Jason Mantzoukas (“The Dictator,” TV’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), Nick Kroll (“Vacation,” TV’s “Kroll Show”), and Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner (“The Hurt Locker,” “The Town”), as well as a supporting ensemble including Allison Tolman, Michaela Watkins, Ryan Simpkins, Jessie Ennis, Rob Huebel, Christina Offley, Rory Scovel, Lennon Parham, Cedric Yarbrough, Kyle Kinane, and Andrea Savage.

Andrew Jay Cohen makes his feature film directorial debut with “The House.” The script was written by Brendan O’Brien and Cohen, whose previous collaborations include the hit comedy “Neighbours.”  The film was produced by Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake, Brendan O’Brien, Andrew Jay Cohen, Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. Marc S. Fischer, Chris Henchy, Spencer Wong, Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Michael Disco, and Bruce Berman served as executive producers.

“The House” will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack for $39.99 and DVD for $31.98. The Blu-ray Combo Pack features the theatrical version of the film in hi-definition on Blu-ray; and the DVD features the theatrical version in standard definition. The Blu-ray Combo Pack includes a digital version of the movie.  Fans can also own “The House” via purchase from digital retailers beginning September 26.

SYNOPSIS

When Scott and Kate Johansen’s daughter gets into the college of her dreams it’s cause for celebration. That is, until Scott and Kate (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) learn that the scholarship they were counting on didn’t come through, and they’re now on the hook for tuition they can’t begin to afford.

With the help of their friend and neighbour Frank (Jason Mantzoukas)—also in need of a major payday—they decide to open an illegal casino in his suburban house, risking everything together on a Vegas-style bacchanal where money flows, inhibitions are checked at the door, and all bets are off.
