20th Century Fox Home Entertainment offre depuis le 6 février 2018, le film Planet of the Apes 50th Anniversary (La planète des singes) en format DVD et Blu-ray. Réalisé par Franklin J. Schaffner, il met en vedette Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall, Kim Hunter, Maurice Evans, James Whitmore, James Daly et Linda Harrison.

Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.

Egaré dans l'espace-temps, un engin spatial américain s'écrase en 3978 sur une planète inconnue. Les astronautes Taylor, Landon et Dodge découvrent que les hommes primitifs de cette planète mystérieuse sont placés sous le joug de singes très évolués...

PLANET OF THE APES 1968 50^th ANNIVERSARY edition today on Digital, Blu-ray™ and DVD.
Charlton Heston stars in the original cinematic masterpiece that turned the world of science fiction upside down. A bewildered astronaut named Taylor (Heston) crash-lands on a strange planet ruled by talking apes who use a primitive race of humans for experimentation and sport. Soon Taylor's survival depends on the kindness of chimpanzee scientists Cornelius and Zira (Roddy McDowall and Kim Hunter) and his escape to the Forbidden Zone, where he uncovers a devastating secret that may hold the key to his own destiny.
 
Special features include a behind the Planet of the Apes documentary, beyond the Forbidden Zone Adventure Game, original makeup tests, original on-site footage and audio commentary by key actors and cast.
