Warner Bros annonce pour le 5 octobre 2010, le film The Exorcist: Extended Director's Cut plus Theatrical Cut de William Friedkin avec Ellen McRae, Max von Sydow, Lee J. Cobb, Kitty Winn, Jack MacGowran, Jason Miller et Linda Blair. Le film sera disponible en Blu-ray (Digibook) avec des pistes sonores anglaise et française 5.1 et française mono pour l'édition théâtral. Voici le synopsis :
L'histoire se déroule à Georgetown dans la banlieue de Washington. L'actrice de télévision Chris MacNeil est de plus en plus inquiète pour sa fille Regan en proie à des spasmes violents devenus fréquents.
