Paramount annonce pour le 19 février 2019, le film Overlord en format 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray et DVD, réalisé par Julius Avery et mettant en vedette John Magaro, Wyatt Russell, Pilou Asbæk, Bokeem Woodbine, Iain De Caestecker et Jovan Adepo.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
La guerre fait rage en Europe. Les jeunes hommes américains sont mobilisés pour se rendre dans le feu de l’action et faire leur devoir. Boyce fait partie d’une équipe qui a pour mission de trouver un émetteur nazi dans une église française et le détruire. Arrivé sur les lieux, le commando rencontre Chloé, une jeune villageoise française qui accepte de les aider. Après s’être introduit dans l’église, Boyce découvre un soldat ennemi pas comme les autres. Ce dernier semble en effet atteint d’une mutation. L’équipe de soldats découvre finalement un laboratoire nazi dans le sous-sol de la bâtisse, qui contient une injection capable de modifier l’ADN de ceux à qui l’on en donne. Leur mission, qui était déjà périlleuse, se change tout à coup en une mission suicide.
