Sony annonce pour le 15 janvier 2019, le film Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (Chair de poule 2 : L’halloween hantée) en format 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray et DVD, réalisé par Ari Sandel et mettant en vedette Jeremy Ray Taylor, Caleel Harris, Madison Iseman, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ken Jeong et Jack Black.

Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.

Alors qu’ils vident une vieille maison de ses débris, Sonny et son ami Sam découvrent un mystérieux livre écrit par R.L. Stine. Lorsqu’ils ouvrent ce dernier, un pantin diabolique du nom de M. Méchant Garçon s’en échappe. La marionnette veut faire d’eux ses frères, mais les garçons refusent. Aidés par la soeur aînée de Sonny, Sarah, les deux amis tenteront d’arrêter le pantin machiavélique, qui a l’intention de détruire le bouquin qui lui a donné vie et ainsi paver les rues de la ville d’horreur pour l’éternité.

Slappy the devious ventriloquist dummy returns to run amuck, in this second installment of the family-friendly franchise based on R.L. Stine’s beloved book series. Synopsis:
Be careful what you wish for. With their after school junk business, best friends Sonny and Sam hope to find treasure in other people’s trash. But when cleaning out the old Stine house, they open a locked book that frees a supernatural nightmare- Slappy! Now, with the help of Sonny’s sister Sarah, they’re in a race against time to get the sinister dummy and all the creatures he’s brought to life back into the pages before he unleashes total pandemonium!

Based on the beloved Scholastic book series by R.L Stine, GOOSEBUMPS 2 was directed by Academy Award®-winner Ari Sandel (2005, Best Short Film-Live Action, West Bank Story) from a story by Rob Lieber and Darren Lemke and screenplay by Lieber.
