Warner Bros annonce pour le 29 septembre 2020, le coffret Stargirl: The Complete First Season en format Blu-ray et DVD. La série met en vedette Brec Bassinger, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, Christopher James Baker, Hunter Sansone, Amy Smart et Luke Wilson.
Une piste sonore anglaise avec des sous-titres en anglais seront disponibles.
Courtney Whitmore, une adolescente, fait sa première rentrée au lycée de Blue Valley, une toute nouvelle ville du Nebraska. Un soir, elle découvre que son beau-père cache un mystérieux sceptre aux pouvoirs étranges. Son beau-père lui révèle être S.T.R.I.P.E., un membre de la Société de justice d’Amérique et qu’il a été chargé par Starman de veiller sur son sceptre après la mort des héros dix ans auparavant.
Néanmoins, il semblerait que le sceptre ait choisi Courtney comme nouveau propriétaire. Elle devient alors Stargirl, une justicière, qui va devoir affronter les ennemis de la SJA, de retour avec la réapparition du sceptre.

Focusing on the character that started creator Geoff Johns’ career in comic books, when he created her, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a plane explosion, new DC drama series, DC’s Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to take up the legacy of a long-lost Super Hero team – The Justice Society of America – and stop the Super-Villains of the past.
