We can finally say it: « WE’RE WORKING ON THE NEXT TMNT BEAT ‘ EM UP, YESSSSS! » Ok this was more like yelling but that’s about how we felt when we got the news we would be working on this project. So grab a slice of pizza and let us tell you about the project we have been working on recently: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.
The game is developed over here in Montreal at Tribute and published by Dotemu in partnership with Nickelodeon. True to our studio name, the upcoming side-scrolling beat ’em up is directly inspired by classic TMNT games like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time on the SNES. It reunites Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello to kick shell in a pixel art world (Ha! Long live pixel art!) invoking the Turtles’ classic 1987 design. We know some of you have been waiting for a new coop game from Tribute so we are happy to oblige! (The game has a single-player mode too.)
Yes, we want to know on which platforms it will be available too! For now it’s possible to add the game to your Steam wishlist. And you can learn a bit more about the game on the Steam page too.
If you want to chat about the game, feel free to join the TMNT Shredder’s Revenge Discord server. Some devs from Tribute will be on there too.
