Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection en 4K Ultra HD prochainement

Paramount annonce pour le 11 avril 2023, le coffret Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection en 4K Ultra HD. L’ensemble comprend les films suivants :

Star Trek VII: Generations

Réalisé en 1994 par David Carson, il met en vedette Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Malcolm McDowell et James Doohan.

Il y a quatre-vingt ans, le capitaine Kirk disparaissait lors d’un combat suite à un appel de détresse : les Borgs avaient alors ravagé la planète El-Laurian et il ne restait plus que quelques survivants, dont le scientifique, Tolian Soran. Près d’un siècle plus tard, le capitaine Jean-luc Picard est aux commandes de l’Enterprise D et s’apprête à sauver de nouveau Tolian Soran. Ce dernier souhaite à tout prix retourner dans le Nexus, qui est en réalité la porte vers une autre dimension. S’il parvient à y revenir, c’est la destruction de deux systèmes solaire et la mort de millions de personnes assurée. Dans cette course contre la montre, le capitaine Picard va recevoir un coup de main inatendu…

Star Trek VIII: First Contact

Réalisé en 1996 par Jonathan Frakes, il met en vedette Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis et Alfre Woodard.

Les Borgs lancent un nouvel assaut contre la Fédération, mais cette fois ils tentent de modifier le cours du temps en empêchant le lancement du premier vaisseau terrien avec moteur à distorsion et le premier contact avec des extra-terrestres.

Star Trek IX: Insurrection

Réalisé en 1998 par Jonathan Frakes, il met en vedette Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis et F. Murray Abraham.

Jean-Luc Picard et son équipage s’insurgent pour protéger le secret de la jeunesse éternelle des Ba’kus, d’un plan mené par les Son’as… et la Fédération.

Star Trek X: Nemesis

Réalisé en 2002 par Stuart Baird, il met en vedette Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden, Ron Perlman et Tom Hardy.

Jean-Luc Picard et son équipage de l’USS Enterprise NCC-1701-E doivent effectuer une mission diplomatique auprès de l’Empire stellaire romulien après l’émergence d’un nouveau dirigeant qui a éliminé la majeure partie du sénat romulien. Picard découvrira que Shinzon, le nouveau praetor, est en fait son clone et il devra user de toutes ses ressources pour déjouer son plan d’anéantissement de la Fédération.

Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.

All four big-screen adventures featuring fan-favorite Star Trek characters Picard, Riker, Data, LaForge, Worf, Troi, and Dr. Crusher arrive for the first time ever on 4K Ultra HD™ with Dolby Vision™* and HDR-10 on April 4, 2023, just in time for First Contact Day (April 5th, the day Vulcans first made contact with humans).

The journey begins with original cast members Kirk, Scott, and Chekov in a story that spans space and time in STAR TREK: GENERATIONS, continuing with a terrifying face off against the Borg in STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT, a dangerous plot against a peaceful planet in STAR TREK: INSURRECTION, and a familiar old foe returning in STAR TREK: NEMESIS.

All four films will be available together in the STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION 4-MOVIE COLLECTION.  The 4-Movie Collection includes each film on 4K Ultra HD, as well as fully remastered on Blu-ray™, plus all legacy bonus content and access to Digital copies of each film.  The Collection is presented in a slipcase beautifully illustrated to complement the STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL 6-MOVIE COLLECTION, making this a must-own set to complete every fan’s collection.

In addition, each film will be available individually on 4K Ultra HD with a bonus Blu-ray featuring the fully remastered film, along with all legacy bonus content and access to a Digital copy of the film.
