Warner Bros annonce pour le 12 mars 2024, le film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom en 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray et DVD. Réalisé par James Wan, il met en vedette Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II et Nicole Kidman.

Synopsis :
Après avoir échoué dans sa quête pour vaincre Aquaman, Black Manta, toujours habité par son désir de venger la mort de son père, ne reculera devant rien pour se débarrasser d’Aquaman une fois pour toutes. Cette fois, Black Manta est plus puissant que jamais grâce au pouvoir du mythique Trident noir, capable de déclencher une force antique et malveillante. Pour le vaincre, Aquaman devra se tourner vers Orm, son frère emprisonné et ex-roi d’Atlantide, pour former une alliance inattendue. Ils devront régler leurs différends s’ils espèrent protéger leur royaume et sauver la famille d’Aquaman – et le monde entier – d’une destruction irréversible.

Burbank, CA, January 18, 2024 – Experience the sequel to the highest-grossing DC film of all time when “Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom” debuts for purchase and rental Digitally at home on January 23. The film is directed by James Wan (“Aquaman,” “The Conjuring,” “Saw”) with Jason Momoa (“Aquaman,” “Dune,” “Game of Thrones”) reprising his role as Arthur Curry along with returning stars Patrick Wilson (“The Conjuring,” “Watchmen”), Amber Heard (“Aquaman,” “Zombieland”), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (“Aquaman,” “The Matrix: Resurrection”) and Academy Award Winner Nicole Kidman (“The Hours,” “Moulin Rouge,” “The Others”). The film will also be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on March 12.
- On January 23, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” will be available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home for $24.99 and for 48-hour rental via PVOD for $19.99 SRP on participating digital platforms where you purchase or rent movies, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu, and more.
- On March 12, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” will be available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD from online and physical retailers. “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” will also continue to be available to own in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.
All returning to the roles they originated, Jason Momoa plays Arthur Curry/Aquaman, now balancing his duties as both the King of Atlantis and a new father; Patrick Wilson is Orm, Aquaman’s half-brother and his nemesis, who must now step into a new role as his brother’s reluctant ally; Amber Heard is Mera, Atlantis’ Queen and mother of the heir to the throne; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is Black Manta, committed more than ever to avenge his father’s death by destroying Aquaman, his family and Atlantis; and Nicole Kidman is Atlanna, a fierce leader and mother with the heart of a warrior. Also reprising their roles are Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.
Directed by Wan, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is produced by Peter Safran, James Wan and Rob Cowan. The executive producers are Galen Vaisman and Walter Hamada.
The screenplay is by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, from a story by James Wan & David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Jason Momoa & Thomas Pa’a Sibbett, based on characters from DC, Aquaman created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger.
Synopsis:
Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance.
