Synopsis :

La famille Malard est un peu enlisée. Alors que le père, Mack, veut maintenir la sécurité de sa famille en barbotant autour de leur étang en Nouvelle-Angleterre pour toujours, la mère, Pam, veut changer les choses et montrer le monde entier à ses enfants – l’adolescent Dax et la canetonne Gwen. Après la visite d’une famille de canards migrateurs qui se pose sur leur étang avec des récits palpitants de lieux lointains, Pam persuade Mack de se lancer dans un voyage en famille jusqu’en Jamaïque tropicale en passant par New York.
