Paramount annonce pour le 30 avril 2024, le coffret Lawmen: Bass Reeves en Blu-ray et DVD. Créé par Chad Feehan, il met en vedette David Oyelowo, Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Dennis Quaid, Grantham Coleman et Donald Sutherland.
Une piste sonore anglaise avec des sous-titres en anglais seront disponibles.
Révélant l’histoire inédite de l’homme de loi le plus légendaire du Far West, LAWMEN: BASS REVES suit le parcours de Reeves (Oyelowo) et son ascension de l’esclavage à l’application de la loi en tant que l’un des premiers maréchaux noirs américains à l’ouest du Mississippi. Bien qu’il ait arrêté plus de 3 000 hors-la-loi au cours de sa carrière, le poids de l’insigne était lourd et il a dû lutter contre le coût moral et spirituel de sa famille bien-aimée.

The original series about Bass Reeves (Oyelowo), the most legendary lawman in the Old West, was Paramount+’s most watched global series premiere in 2023. LAWMEN: BASS REEVES will be released in a 3-disc Blu-ray or DVD set that features all eight episodes and over two hours of bonus content, including all-new special features, a behind-the-scenes look at every episode and an exclusive interview with production designer, Wynn Thomas (Malcolm X, Hidden Figures, A Beautiful Mind).

LAWMEN: BASS REEVES – Synopsis
Revealing the untold story of the most legendary lawman in the Old West, LAWMEN: BASS REVES follows the journey of Reeves (Oyelowo) and his rise from enslavement to law enforcement as one of the first Black U.S. Marshals west of the Mississippi. Despite arresting over 3,000 outlaws during the course of his career, the weight of the badge was heavy, and he wrestled with its moral and spiritual cost of his beloved family.
