Dog Man en Blu-ray et DVD prochainement

Lorsqu’un policier et son fidèle compagnon de la brigade canine sont tous deux blessés en service, une opération chirurgicale aussi insensée que miraculeuse les lie à jamais et donne naissance à celui qu’on appellera désormais Dog Man. Ce dernier est depuis aussi appliqué à servir son pays qu’à rapporter ce qu’on lui lance, s’asseoir sagement ou se rouler par terre. Il s’évertue à faire ses preuves sous cette nouvelle identité pour mieux impressionner son supérieur, en mettant fin aux exactions du tristement célèbre Monpetit. Jamais à court de mauvaises idées, le félin n’a récemment rien trouvé de mieux que de se cloner lui-même afin de doubler sa capacité à commettre des infractions. Mais les choses vont se compliquer lorsque Petitmonpetit, son tout jeune clone, tombe entre les griffes d’un ennemi commun. Pour sauver le petit chaton, à contrecœur chien et chat unissent alors leurs forces dans une course contre la montre survoltée. L’occasion pour eux de découvrir que les liens familiaux sont capables de rassembler les ennemis les plus hostiles.

From DreamWorks Animation – creators of How to Train Your Dragon and The Wild Robot – comes the canine crime-fighting film adaptation of Dav Pilkey’s literary phenomenon: DOG MAN.  When a faithful police dog and his human police officer owner are injured on the job, a harebrained surgery fuses the two of them together and Dog Man is born! As he embraces his new identity and strives to impress his Chief (Lil Rel Howery, Get Out), Dog Man must stop the villainous Petey the Cat (Pete Davidson, “Saturday Night Live”) from cloning himself and creating an evil kitten, doubling his evil abilities. The story takes a turn when the kitten forges an unexpected bond with Dog Man and in the process, they discover the power of family to bring even the most hostile foes together.

DOG MAN is expertly written and directed by Peter Hastings (“The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants,” “Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness”). The film also stars Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers, Rango), Poppy Liu (“Hacks,” The Afterparty), Stephen Root (“Barry,” “King of the Hill”), Billy Boyd (Lord of the Rings franchise, Seed of Chucky), and Ricky Gervais (“The Office,” “Extras”).
