Paramount annonce pour le 20 octobre 2020, le film The Haunting en format Blu-ray. Réalisé par Jan de Bont, il met en vedette Liam Neeson, Lili Taylor et Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Une piste sonore anglaise avec des sous-titres en anglais seront disponibles.
Sous prétexte de les guérir de leurs insomnies, le docteur David Marrow a invité à « Hill House » trois de ses patients, Theo, jeune femme belle et élégante; Luke, cobaye professionnel qui est venu pour gagner un peu d’argent ; et Lili, fragile, sensible et vulnérable. En réalité, le docteur conduit une expérience sur les mécanismes de l’angoisse. Or, le château de « Hill House », lugubre résidence construite au XIXe siècle par le richissime industriel Hugh Crain, homme cruel et tourmenté, a la reputation d’être hanté.

Synopsis
For over a century, the foreboding Hill House mansion has sat abandoned…or so it seemed. Intrigued by its past, Dr. Marrow lures three subjects to the site for an experiment. But, from the moment of their arrival, as night descends, the study goes horrifyingly awry, and Hill House unleashes its supernatural wrath on the unsuspecting subjects.
