Synopsis :
Will Sharp, un vétéran décoré qui a désespérément besoin d’argent pour payer les factures médicales de sa femme, demande de l’aide à la seule personne à laquelle il ne devrait pas: son frère adoptif Danny. Criminel de carrière charismatique, Danny lui fait une autre offre: le plus gros braquage de banque de l’histoire de Los Angeles: 32 millions de dollars. Avec la survie de sa femme en jeu, Will ne peut pas dire non.
Mais lorsque leur escapade tourne mal, les frères désespérés détournent une ambulance avec à bord un policier blessé qui s’accroche à la vie. Dans une poursuite à grande vitesse qui n’en finit pas, Will et Danny doivent échapper à une réponse massive des forces de l’ordre de toute la ville, garder leurs otages en vie et essayer tant bien que mal de ne pas s’entretuer, le tout, en exécutant l’évasion la plus folle que L.A. ait jamais vue.

In this action thriller directed by Michael Bay, veteran Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Candyman), desperate for money, turns to his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal, End of Watch) for help.
