The Machine en Blu-ray et DVD prochainement
Sony Pictures Canada annonce pour le 15 août 2023, le film The Machine en Blu-ray et DVD. Réalisé par Peter Atencio, il met en vedette Bert Kreischer, Mark Hamill, Jimmy Tatro, Iva Babić, Stephanie Kurtzuba et Jessica Gabor.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
Se déroulant 23 ans après l’histoire originale qui l’a inspirée, The Machine nous montre Bert (Bert Kreischer) confronté à une crise familiale et à l’arrivée de son père (Mark Hamill) lorsque le fantôme de son passé d’alcoolique arrive : un gangster meurtrier (Iva Babić ) déterminé à kidnapper Bert pour le ramener dans sa terre natale, pour expier ses crimes. Ensemble, lui et son père doivent retracer les pas de la version jeune de lui-même (Jimmy Tatro), au milieu d’une guerre entre une famille de criminels sociopathes, alors qu’ils tentent de trouver un terrain d’entente.

SYNOPSIS
Bert Kreischer rose to fame as a stand-up comedian known as The Machine, and in his signature set he recounts his true experience with Russian mobsters while on a booze-soaked college trip. Now, 23 years later, that trip has come back to haunt him as he and his estranged father (Mark Hamill) are kidnapped back to Russia by the mob to atone for something they say he did. Together, Bert and his father must retrace the steps of his younger self (Jimmy Tatro) in the midst of a war within a sociopathic crime family, all while attempting to find common ground in their often fraught relationship.
