Warner Bros annonce pour le 24 octobre 2023, le film Meg 2: The Trench en 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray et DVD. Réalisé par Ben Wheatley, il met en vedette Jason Statham, Wu Jing, Sophia Cai, Page Kennedy, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Skyler Samuels et Cliff Curtis.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
Synopsis :
Il y a quelques années, un institut océanique a prouvé l’existence de gigantesques requins préhistoriques, connus sous le nom de Mégalodons. Ils sont emprisonnés dans un endroit appelé la fosse, à 7500 mètres sous la surface des océans. Lors d’une expédition d’exploration de routine, Jonas et son équipe de chercheurs découvrent que des individus mal intentionnés se trouvent dans cette zone afin d’exploiter illégalement les ressources minières. Une explosion provoque une brèche dans la fosse, permettant l’évasion de plusieurs monstres marins. Ces derniers se dirigent vers la surface et ils ont faim…

Burbank, CA, August 24, 2023 – Dive into uncharted waters when the larger-than-life thrill ride “Meg 2: The Trench” arrives for purchase Digitally at home on August 25. The film is directed by Ben Wheatley (“In the Earth,” “Free Fire”) and stars Jason Statham (“The Meg,” “Furious 7”, “The Fate of the Furious,” The “Transporter” films) and global action icon Wu Jing (“Tai Chi Master,” “Invisible Target,” “Legendary Assassin”) and is the sequel to the surprise 2018 summer blockbuster “The Meg”. The film will also be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on October 24.
- On August 25, “Meg 2: The Trench” will be available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home for $24.99 and for 48-hour rental via PVOD for $19.99 SRP on participating digital platforms where you purchase movies, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu, and more.
- On October 24, “Meg 2: The Trench” will be available to own on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD. “Meg 2: The Trench” will also continue to be available to own in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.
Along with Statham and Jing, “Meg 2: The Trench” cast also includes Sophia Cai (“The Meg”), Page Kennedy (“The Meg”), Sergio Peris-Mencheta (“Rambo: Last Blood”), Skyler Samuels (“The Gifted”), and Cliff Curtis (“Avatar” franchise).
“Meg 2: The Trench” is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Belle Avery and executive produced by Jason Statham, Cate Adams, Ruigang Li, Catherine Xujun Ying, Wu Jing, E.
