HBO va de l’avant avec une série basé sur la franchise vidéoludique The Last of US
HBO a commandé la série THE LAST OF US. Cela a été annoncé par Francesca Orsi, vice-présidente exécutive de la programmation HBO. Craig Mazin («Chernobyl» de HBO), Neil Druckmann (franchises de jeux vidéo «The Last of Us» et «Uncharted»), et Carolyn Strauss («Chernobyl» et «Game of Thrones» de HBO) sont producteurs exécutifs avec Evan de Naughty Dog Wells et Asad Qizilbash et Carter Swan de PlayStation Productions. Écrit par Mazin et Druckmann, la série est une coproduction avec Sony Pictures Television. PlayStation Productions, Word Games et Naughty Dog produisent.
Basé sur le jeu vidéo acclamé par la critique «The Last of Us», développé par Naughty Dog exclusivement pour les plates-formes PlayStation, l’histoire se déroule vingt ans après la destruction de la civilisation moderne. Joel, un survivant endurci, est engagé pour faire sortir en contrebande Ellie, une jeune fille de 14 ans, d’une zone de quarantaine oppressive. Ce qui commence comme un petit travail devient bientôt un voyage brutal et déchirant, car ils doivent tous deux traverser les États-Unis et dépendent l’un de l’autre pour survivre.
« The Last of Us » sera disponible sur HBO et en streaming sur HBO Max.

HBO has given a series order to the drama THE LAST OF US, it was announced today by Francesca Orsi, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming. Craig Mazin (HBO’s “Chernobyl”), Neil Druckmann (“The Last of Us” and “Uncharted” video game franchises), and Carolyn Strauss (HBO’s “Chernobyl” and “Game of Thrones”) are executive producers along with Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan. Written by Mazin and Druckmann, the series is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television. PlayStation Productions, Word Games, and Naughty Dog produce.

Based on the critically acclaimed video game “The Last of Us,” developed by Naughty Dog exclusively for the PlayStation® platforms, the story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
“The Last of Us” will be available on HBO and to stream on HBO Max.
