Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment annonce pour le 23 mars 2021, le film Soul (Âme) en format 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray et DVD. Réalisé par Pete Docter et Kemp Powers, il met en vedette les voix anglaises de Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Graham Norton, Rachel House, Phylicia Rashad, Ahmir Questlove Thompson, Angela Bassett et Daveed Diggs.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
Joe Gardner enseigne la musique dans une école primaire. Il a toujours rêvé de devenir un grand musicien de jazz. Un jour, l’un de ses anciens élèves l’appelle pour lui offrir l’occasion de jouer dans un club. Son audition se passe à merveille, mais en revenant chez lui, il tombe dans un trou d’égout et se retrouve dans le coma. Son âme est alors transportée aux portes de l’au-delà, mais Joe refuse ce destin. Il dérive du chemin tracé pour lui et atterrit dans le Grand avant. Là-bas, il s’allie avec 22, une âme qui ne veut pas devenir humaine. Avec elle, Joe s’évertuera à trouver un moyen de retrouver son corps et poursuivre sa vie là où il l’a laissée.

Directed by Academy Award® winner Pete Docter (“Inside Out,” “Up”), co-directed by Kemp Powers (“One Night in Miami”) and produced by Academy Award nominee Dana Murray, p.g.a. (Pixar short “Lou”), Disney and Pixar’s “Soul” will be available on digital, 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD on March 23.
The digital and physical releases of “Soul” will include exclusive, never-before-seen deleted scenes and audio commentary by Pete Docter, Kemp Powers and Dana Murray. Additionally, fans can find the film packaged as a collectible SteelBook® at Best Buy and packaged with a limited-edition gallery book at Target.

Synopsis: Jamie Foxx leads an all-star cast in this hilarious, heart-filled adventure. Disney and Pixar’s “Soul” introduces Joe, who lands the gig of his life at the best jazz club in town.
