Warner Bros annonce pour le 8 février 2022, le film King Richard (King Richard : Au-delà du jeu) en 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray et DVD. Réalisé par Reinaldo Marcus Green, il met en vedette Will Smith, Saniyya Sidney, Demi Singleton, Aunjanue Ellis, Tony Goldwyn et Jon Bernthal.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
Synopsis :
Richard Williams est un père de famille aimant et autoritaire. Un jour, il décidera d’élaborer un plan de 78 pages décrivant les entraînements nécessaires pour créer des championnes de tennis. Malgré son manque d’expérience dans ce sport, il mettra ce plan à rude épreuve avec ses deux filles, Venus et Serena. Loin de l’échec, les deux jeunes filles se mettront à performer dans leur sport, jusqu’à devenir les meilleures au monde.

Burbank, CA, January 3 – Experience the true, inspiring story of two of the world’s greatest sports legends when “King Richard” arrives for Premium Digital Ownership at home on January 4. The film is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green from a screenplay by Zach Baylin, and stars two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith (“Ali,” “The Pursuit of Happyness,” the “Bad Boys” films), Aunjanue Ellis (“If Beale Street Could Talk,” TV’s “Quantico”), Saniyya Sidney (“Hidden Figures,” “Fences”), Demi Singleton (TV’s “Godfather of Harlem”), Tony Goldwyn (the “Divergent” series, TV’s “Scandal”) and Jon Bernthal (“The Many Saints of Newark,” “Ford v Ferrari”). The film will also be available on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD beginning on February 8.
The film was produced by Tim White, Trevor White, Smith, Isha Price, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith, Adam Merims, Lynn Harris and Allan Mandelbaum, with Jon Mone and Peter Dodd executive producing. The film also stars Andy Bean (“IT Chapter Two”), Kevin Dunn (the “Transformers” films, TV’s “Veep”) and Craig Tate (“Greyhound”).
- On January 4, “King Richard” will be available for early Premium Digital Ownership at home for $24.99 and for 48-hour rental via PVOD for $19.99 SRP on participating digital platforms where you purchase movies.
- On February 8, “King Richard” will be available on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD. “King Richard” will also continue to be available to own in high definition and standard definition from participating digital retailers.
