Synopsis : Dans un royaume dirigé par des chats, le diabolique Ika Chu désire élargir son palais. Un petit village se dresse toutefois sur son chemin. Afin de le rayer de la carte en évitant les foudres du shogun, il complote un plan machiavélique: nommer le chien Hank samouraï et l’envoyer protéger l’endroit, en sachant pertinemment que la population de chats risque de lui faire la peau. S’il arrive quelque chose au samouraï, Ika Chu aura la légitimité d’envoyer ses troupes et d’arrêter les villageois. Contre toute attente, le nouveau venu finit par susciter la sympathie de ses hôtes récalcitrants, recevant même l’enseignement d’un vieux maître reclus.

In this fun-filled family adventure, hard-on-his-luck hound named Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map. With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day.
