Universal Pictures Home Entertainment annonce pour le 15 novembre 2022, le film Beast (La Bête) en Blu-ray et DVD. Réalisé par Baltasar Kormákur, il met en vedette Idris Elba, Sharlto Copley, Iyana Halley, Leah Sava Jeffries.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
Synopsis :
Idris Elba (Rapides et dangereux présentent Hobbs et Shaw, L’escadron suicide) est à l’affiche dans un thriller palpitant qui nous entraîne sur les traces d’un père et de ses deux filles adolescentes, tous les trois pris en chasse par un lion monstrueux et sans pitié qui tente de prouver qu’il est le seul et ultime prédateur de la savane.
Elba interprète le Dr. Nate Daniels, nouvellement veuf, qui retourne en Afrique du Sud où il avait rencontré sa femme, pour un voyage organisé avec ses filles, au cœur d’une réserve sauvage dirigée par Martin Battle (Sharlto Copley de la série Poupée russe, Maléfique), un vieil ami de la famille également biologiste de la faune. Mais le voyage qui devait leur être salutaire se transforme en une redoutable lutte pour la survie, lorsqu’un lion qui a échappé à de sanguinaires braconniers commence à les suivre et à les épier, convaincu que les humains sont tous ses ennemis.
Iyana Halley (La haine qu’on donne, la série Notre vie) interprète le rôle de Meredith, la fille de 18 ans de Daniel et Leah Sava Jeffries (des séries Rel et Empire) interprète le rôle de Nora, sa fille de 13 ans.
