Voici mes impressions des nouveaux ensembles Star Trek en 4K Ultra HD, notamment Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989), Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) et Star Trek: The Motion Picture – The Director’s Edition – The Complete Adventure(1979).  Ils mettent en vedette William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, George Takei, Walter Koenig et Nichelle Nichols.  Distribué par Paramount et disponible dès le 6 septembre 2022.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture – The Director’s Edition – The Complete Adventure (1979), réalisé par Robert Wise.

Une entité d’origine extra-terrestre sans précédent se dirige vers la Terre en détruisant tout sur son passage. L’équipage de l’USS Enterprise est chargé de stopper ce nouvel ennemi. Alors que le Capitaine Decker se prépare à diriger la mission, il est relevé de ses fonctions et remplacé par le fameux Amiral Kirk, absent des commandes du vaisseau depuis trois ans…

En 2287, le Capitaine Kirk et son équipage prennent sur Terre des vacances bien méritées… Mais lorsqu’ils apprennent que le Vulcain Sybok, demi-frère de Spock, vient de prendre en otage des diplomates venus cohabiter sur la planète Nimbus III, nos héros remontent à bord de l’Enterprise…

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), réalisé par Nicholas Meyer

Alors que Mr. Spock, le capitaine Kirk et l’équipage de l’Enterprise escorte le chancelier Gordon jusqu’au centre de conférence ou il doit signer un accord de paix avec l’empire des Klingons, leur vaisseau est attaque et le chancelier abattu. Chang, general des Klingons, accuse Kirk qu’il envoie en compagnie du docteur McCoy sur l’astre de glace Rura Penthe. Mr. Spock ne dispose que de quelques jours pour sauver son ami et rétablir la paix menacée.
