Living en Blu-ray et DVD prochainement
Sony Pictures Canada annonce pour le 11 avril 2023, le film Living en Blu-ray et DVD. Réalisé par Oliver Hermanus, il met en vedette Bill Nighy, Aimee Lou Wood, Alex Sharp, Tom Burke.
Une piste sonore anglaise avec des sous-titres en anglais et français seront disponibles.
Londres, 1953. Un fonctionnaire sans histoire voit sa vie chamboulée lorsqu’il apprend que son cancer a gagné du terrain, et qu’il n’a plus que quelques mois à vivre. Ayant depuis trop longtemps vécu une existence sans exaltation ni surprise ou chambardement, la nouvelle pousse le principal intéressé à revoir ses choix de vie sous un autre angle, et à se questionner sur la façon dont il doit profiter du temps qu’il lui reste, et le legs qui lui survivra. Il forme dès lors une amitié improbable avec une ancienne collègue de travail, qui devient pour lui une complice et une confidente.

SYNOPSIS
In a career-defining performance, Bill Nighy (Love Actually) plays Williams, a 1950s London civil servant who struggles to maintain order under mountains of paperwork. Overwhelmed at work and lonely at home, his life takes a heartbreaking turn when a medical diagnosis tells him time is short. Influenced by a local decadent (Tom Burke) and the vibrant Margaret (Aimee Lou Wood), Williams continues to search for meaning until a simple revelation gives him the purpose to create a legacy for the next generation. Adapted by Nobel laureate Kazuo Ishiguro (The Remains of the Day) and based on the classics Akira Kurosawa film Ikiru, Living is “one of the best pictures of the year” (David Fear, ROLLING STONE).
