Cette série humoristique nous plonge dans le quotidien du groupe Electric Mayhem – Dr Teeth aux voix et aux claviers, Animal à la batterie, Floyd Pepper aux voix et à la basse, Janice aux voix et à la guitare principale Zoot au saxophone et Lips à la trompette — tout au long de leur épique aventure musicale pour enregistrer leur premier album studio. Avec l’aide de Nora, une jeune cadre de la maison de disque, les Muppets, plutôt de la vieille école, découvrent la scène musicale actuelle à laquelle ils doivent s’adapter pour enregistrer leur premier album en studio.
